UAE National Day, December 2, is one of the few dates on the calendar where the whole country is out at the same time: flags, fireworks, and every restaurant in every emirate fuller than a normal Tuesday. If the plan is a family meal out rather than fighting Dubai traffic for a fireworks view, a Sharjah buffet is the easier, calmer version of the same evening.

Where December 2 lands decides which buffet is on: Monday to Friday it is the Weekday Dinner Buffet at AED 42 for adults and AED 22 for kids, 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Either way it's the same kitchen and the same live tandoor counter, with under-5s eating free.
