Office lunch catering from Taier Al Monal in Abu Shaghara, Sharjah runs from AED 45 per person for the vegetarian package to AED 110 for the premium. There is a minimum order of AED 3,000 on outdoor catering, which is the number most offices need to check before anything else.
That minimum is not a hurdle for a company lunch of sixty. It is a real constraint for a team of twenty, and it is worth knowing before you plan the menu rather than after.
The four packages, per person
- Vegetarian: AED 45 per person
- Classic: AED 65 per person
- Zouq: AED 85 per person
- Premium: AED 110 per person, including a whole mutton dam pukht ouzi on rice
Every package covers salads and sauces, a soup, your choice of main courses, a grill selection, bread, dessert, and water with soft drinks. Nothing on that list is an extra.
How many people you need to clear the minimum
Because the AED 3,000 floor applies to the order rather than the headcount, the number of people you need depends on which package you pick. Divide the minimum by the per-head price:
- Vegetarian at AED 45: about 67 people
- Classic at AED 65: about 47 people
- Zouq at AED 85: about 36 people
- Premium at AED 110: about 28 people
This produces a result that surprises people. If your team is around thirty, the premium package is the one that clears the minimum most comfortably, so a smaller office often ends up eating better rather than paying a shortfall on a cheaper menu.
A worked example for a team of fifty
Fifty people on the Classic package is fifty at AED 65, which is AED 3,250. That clears the minimum. Add a live BBQ counter at AED 10 a head and it becomes AED 3,750. Add table and chair setup at AED 15 a head and it is AED 4,500.
The deposit is 50 percent when you book, so AED 1,625 on the food-only version, with the balance due three days before the lunch.
Live counters for an office event
Live BBQ, live tandoor and live jalebi are AED 10 per person each. A live puri counter is AED 15. Table and chair setup is AED 15 per person. For a routine Thursday lunch none of these are necessary; for a client event or a team celebration the live tandoor is the one that changes the feel of the room.
Notice, and changing your numbers
Any change to the guest count has to reach us three days before the event. On the day itself the bill is not reduced if fewer people turn up than you booked for, and it is adjusted upward if more do. For an office lunch where attendance is uncertain, book the number you are confident about and let the extras be added.
If your team is too small for the minimum
For a team below the thresholds above, the restaurant itself is the cheaper answer. The weekday buffet is AED 42 a head with no minimum order, and the à la carte menu runs to eighty-four dishes. Booking a section for the team avoids the catering floor entirely.
