Fifty is the number most people plan around for an engagement, an aqiqah, a milad or a work lunch. It is also the point where ordering off a menu stops making sense and a per-head package starts being cheaper and far less stressful.

The minimum order catches people out at this size
Outdoor catering has a minimum order of AED 3,000. Fifty guests on the vegetarian package comes to AED 2,250, which is below that floor. Fifty on the Classic is AED 3,250 and clears it.
So at exactly fifty guests the vegetarian menu does not work for an off-site event unless you add enough to reach AED 3,000. That is worth knowing before you build a budget around the cheapest number on the page.
What the extras add
Live counters and setup are priced per person, so at fifty they are real money rather than a rounding error.
- Live BBQ, live tandoor or live jalebi: AED 10 per person, so AED 500 each at fifty guests
- Live puri: AED 15 per person, AED 750
- Table and chair setup: AED 15 per person, AED 750
- French fries and nuggets: AED 5 per person, AED 250
A common shape for fifty is the Classic package with a live BBQ counter: AED 3,250 plus AED 500, which is AED 3,750, or AED 75 a head with the grill running in front of your guests.
What you pay, and when
Half on booking, half three days before the event. On that AED 3,750 example, AED 1,875 goes down when you confirm and AED 1,875 three days ahead.
One term matters more than people expect at this size: the bill is not reduced if fewer guests turn up than you booked for, and it is adjusted upward if more do. Book the number you are confident of and let extras be added on the day rather than booking hopefully.
How many dishes fifty people actually need
The packages settle this for you rather than leaving it to guesswork. The Classic lets you pick five main courses and two items from the grill; the Premium goes to six mains, two Chinese dishes, two from the BBQ, three breads and four desserts.
For a mixed crowd the useful rule is one rice dish, one chicken curry, one mutton dish and one vegetarian option, then let the grill and the dessert table do the rest.
If the party is in the restaurant instead
Fifty guests dining in is a different calculation with no minimum order at all. The weekday buffet is AED 42 a head and AED 22 for children, which puts fifty adults at AED 2,100, below every catering option.
