Friday is the start of the weekend in the UAE, and it shows at the table: it's consistently our busiest single night of the week, ahead of even Saturday and Sunday. If Friday dinner is the plan, it's worth knowing what's actually running and why a bit of planning helps.
What's on for Friday
Friday is the first night of the Weekend Premium Buffet, running 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM through Sunday. That means live BBQ, weekend-only specials, a full salad and soup bar, an international corner and the bigger dessert table, the widest spread we run all week, at AED 65 for adults and AED 33 for kids.
Why Friday specifically fills up
It's the overlap of everything at once, the work week just ended, it's the culturally significant start of the weekend after Jummah, and families are out together rather than splitting across a normal weeknight. That combination makes Friday evening the single hardest table to walk into without planning.
Booking ahead actually matters here
For a small table, arriving early in the 7:00 PM window is usually fine. For a family group or anything larger, calling or messaging ahead is worth doing specifically on a Friday. It's the one night where a reserved table makes a real difference over walking in.
