The weekday dinner buffet at Taier Al Monal in Abu Shaghara, Sharjah is AED 42 for adults and AED 22 for children, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 to 11:00 PM. The weekend premium buffet is AED 65 and AED 33, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to midnight. Water and soft drinks are included in both.
The weeknight is cheaper on both rates, so the only real question is what the extra AED 23 a head buys at the weekend, and whether your table needs it.
The two sittings, side by side

The weekend runs an hour later and carries a wider spread with weekend-only specials and a fuller dessert table. The weekday buffet is the same kitchen on a tighter, faster rotation, built for a regular visit rather than an occasion.
What a family of four actually pays
Two adults and two children on a weeknight is AED 84 plus AED 44, which is AED 128. The same four at the weekend is AED 130 plus AED 66, or AED 196. The gap is AED 68, and no drinks bill on either.
Scale that to a larger group and the difference compounds quickly. Twenty adults is AED 840 on a weeknight against AED 1,300 at the weekend, a difference of AED 460 for the same room and the same kitchen.
When the weekend is worth it
Three situations justify the premium. If it is an occasion rather than a meal, the wider spread and the extra hour matter. If your guests can only make a Friday or Saturday, the price is irrelevant because the alternative is nobody coming. And if the table is full of adults who want variety over value, the weekend spread is genuinely bigger.
For an ordinary family dinner, none of those apply and the weeknight is the better booking by a wide margin.
Children, and the half-price band
Children under 5 dine free on both sittings and ages 5 to 10 are half price. Above that the child rate applies: AED 22 on a weeknight and AED 33 at the weekend.
For a party that is mostly children, the weeknight advantage is proportionally even larger, because the child rate is where the widest percentage gap sits.
What is on both
Biryani and rice, karahi and handi, a live tandoor turning out kabab and boti, salads and chaat to start, and a dessert counter with gulab jamun, kheer and fruit trifle. All halal, all from the same kitchen that caters weddings and majlis across Sharjah.
On Sundays the room switches to brunch from 11:00 to 4:00, at AED 49 for adults and AED 24 for children, with halwa puri and a live omelette counter.
