Corporate Catering in Dubai vs Sharjah: What the Postcode Costs You

A Sharjah caterer will deliver into a Dubai office, and the per-head difference on a hundred-person event is usually worth more than the drive.

Most companies book catering from a supplier in their own emirate without checking whether they need to. For corporate catering that assumption is expensive, because the food travels perfectly well and the price difference does not.

Why Sharjah caterers quote lower

Kitchen rent, staff accommodation and overheads are materially lower in Sharjah than in central Dubai, and catering is a business where those costs land directly in the per-head price. There is no service or venue element to absorb them.

The food is prepared in a commercial kitchen and transported in chafing dishes either way. A Dubai caterer twenty minutes from your office and a Sharjah caterer forty minutes away are doing the same job; only the overhead differs.

The numbers on a real event

Our packages are AED 45, AED 65, AED 85 and AED 110 per person, each including salads and sauces, a soup, main courses, a grill selection, bread, dessert, and water with soft drinks.

  • 50 staff on the classic package: AED 3,250
  • 100 staff: AED 6,500
  • 200 staff: AED 13,000
  • 300 staff: AED 19,500

Set those against the quotes you have. On a hundred-person event, a difference of AED 15 a head is AED 1,500, which is more than the logistics are worth arguing about.

What does not change with distance

We deliver across Sharjah, Dubai and Ajman with our own staff, chafing dishes and setup, so the service at the far end is the same regardless of which emirate the office is in. Table and chair setup is AED 15 per person where the venue needs it.

Live counters travel too: a live BBQ, live tandoor or live jalebi counter is AED 10 per person and live puri is AED 15.

What does change

Timing, mainly. Cross-border traffic at peak hours is real, so a Dubai delivery wants a wider window than a Sharjah one, particularly for a lunch. That is a scheduling conversation rather than a cost, and it is the reason to book three to four weeks out for anything above a hundred people.

The terms, either way

Fifty percent deposit on booking, the remaining fifty percent three days before the event, and final guest numbers due on that same three-day deadline. If fewer staff attend, the bill stands at the number booked; if more attend, it adjusts upward. Outdoor catering has a minimum order of AED 3,000.

All four packages and the full 160-dish list are on the catering menu. For the annual event specifically, see annual dinner and company party catering, and for everyday team meals, office lunch ideas. The same price logic applies to eating out in Dubai against Sharjah.
