Biryani is the dish this kitchen is best known for, and it appears on the menu in four different shapes at four different prices. Which one is right depends entirely on whether you are eating alone, ordering lunch, or feeding a table.
Biryani on the a la carte menu

These are the plain plates, and at AED 15 the chicken biryani is among the cheapest full dishes in the building. Add a roghni naan at AED 4 or a raita if you want it to stretch further.
Biryani in a deal, which is usually better value
The AED 15.99 combo is biryani with raita and salad, a gulab jamun and a Pepsi. It is 99 fils more than the plain chicken biryani and adds a dessert and a drink, which makes it the obvious order for one person.
The AED 27 signature tray goes further: chicken biryani, two pieces of chicken malai boti, 150g of chicken karahi, a roghni naan, two gulab jamun, raita, salad and a soft drink can. For nine dirhams more than the plain plate you get most of a mixed grill alongside it.
If you want pulao instead
Pulao is the drier, milder cousin, cooked in stock rather than layered with masala. Plain pulao is AED 10, chicken tikka pulao AED 20, malai boti pulao and fish tikka pulao AED 24, afghani mutton pulao AED 28 and grill pulao AED 45.
For a table, the Shahi Pulao Platter at AED 55 and the Sp. Pulao Platter at AED 149 are built to share rather than ordered per person.
Biryani for a party or an event
For a group, per-plate ordering stops making sense. Catering packages start at AED 45 per person and every one of them has biryani or pulao among the mains: the Classic at AED 65 offers chilman biryani and mutton biryani, and the Premium at AED 110 comes with mutton afghani pulao and a whole mutton ouzi.
Outdoor catering carries a minimum order of AED 3,000, so for a smaller gathering the boxed trays or a table booking work out cheaper.

How the price compares
Against the buffet, a single biryani is the cheaper order: AED 15 versus AED 42 for the weekday buffet. The buffet buys variety and unlimited helpings, including biryani, karahi, the live tandoor and a dessert counter. If you came for biryani specifically, order the biryani.
