Rolla and Al Nahda are Sharjah's other well-established Pakistani food strips, a few well-known handi and Nawabi-style restaurants have run there for years. If that's where the search started, it's worth knowing Abu Shaghara is a five-to-ten-minute drive away, and has its own concentration of Pakistani restaurants worth cross-checking before settling on the usual spot.

The honest case for making the drive
This isn't an argument that Rolla or Al Nahda's restaurants are wrong choices: they've earned their following. It's that if you're already driving to eat Pakistani food, Abu Shaghara is close enough that it's worth adding to the shortlist, especially if a fixed-price buffet with live BBQ is what you're actually after.
